Saturday 15 April
Leaving Devon we travel to our hotel with time to change for the evening. Leaving early evening and travelling on to the World Arena in Birmingham, for the evening performance 20.00. There will be time to have dinner at one of the outlets there.
We have premium seats in Block A for this concert.
Known to millions around the world as the "King of the Waltz"
Andre Rieu created the Johann Strauss Orchestra in 1987 with only 12 members, their first concert was on 1stJanuary 1988. Over the years the orchestra has expanded, and by 2020 there were between 50 and 60 musicians. Andre Rieu plays a 1667 Stradivarius violin. Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra have appeared throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan, and Australia.
Sunday 16 April
After a leisurely breakfast we visit the historic town of Stratford Upon Avon. Later that afternoon we make our way home to Devon.
