Monday 26 September

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest of the Cotswold towns. Enjoy the antique, craft and gift shops and some lunch in this pretty market town. After lunch we visit Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park. Adam Henson is perhaps the best-known farmer in the UK, presenting his own section on BBC's Countryfile to millions of viewers each Sunday evening. Visit the Animal Barn and the goats, piglets and donkeys. The Discovery Barn is full of smaller animals - rabbits, guinea pigs, lambs and ducklings to name a few. Take a wander around the rare breeds trail, the wildlife or woodland walks. There are places to eat and drink and a Farm Park shop too. Including a Hertiage Talk about the farm.

Tuesday 27 September

After breakfast, enjoy a morning at leisure in the beautiful Regency town of Cheltenham. After lunch, enjoy a train journey from Cheltenham to Broadway through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cotswolds. The railway line commands wonderful views of the nearby sleepy hamlets and villages, with outstanding outlooks across to the Malvern Hills and beyond. Wander around the pretty village of Broadway before heading back to the hotel for dinner.

Wedneday 28 Septembe

After breakfast we travel to Bourton On The Water for a few hours. In the afternoon we visit Sezincote House and Gardens. At the heart of a traditional, family-run estate covering 3,500 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside stands a 200-year-old Mogul Indian palace, set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottoes, waterfalls and canals reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. After winding through the mighty oaks that line the long drive of this Gloucestershire garden, you see a weathered-copper onion dome straight out of India. The south front, complete with curving orangery, unfurls above a Repton landscape that has remained unchanged since the mid-19th century. The garden is blessed by a series of spring-fed pools, connected by gurgling water which eventually tumbles into the Island Pool in the valley bottom, before joining the River Evenlode.

Thursday 29 Septembe

After a full English breakfast we return home to South Devon with comfort stops on route.
