Gleneagle Hotel ***
The 3 star Gleneagle hotel stands in large grounds just outside the town of Killarney(approximately 1.5 miles) and is known for its nightly entertainment and for the superb leisure centre with large indoor pool. A shuttle bus service runs from the Gleneagle to Killarney town centre regularly throughout the day for approximately 3.00 euros per person each way. Please note this service is not available in the evenings.

Brehon Hotel ****
The sophisticated, 4 star Brehon Hotel offers terrific standards for groups visiting Killarney and is located just outside of the town with beautiful views of the National Park. The 125 guest bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, air-conditioning, TV, hairdryer, separate bath and shower in en-suite, in-room safe and iron & ironing board. The grand lobby makes a big impression on entering. There are ample cosy seating areas on the mezzanine level and there is also a stylish restaurant and bar. The renowned Angsana Spa is based at the Brehon and treatments need to be booked and paid for well in advance of travel. There is also a fee, payable locally for day admission to the spa pool and this can be advised upon request, if required. Guests can use the leisure centre and attend the evening entertainment at the neighbouring Gleneagle Hotel. Travel to Killarney. On route we will be stopping at Blarney Castle which is world famous for its stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of the tower which attracts many visitors who will kiss the stone so that they never again will be lost for words.D, FE
Tuesday 9 June
This morning we will travel on board a Jaunting Car which is a traditional form of Irish transport, similar to a horse drawn carriage. Our ride takes us through the spectacular Killarney National Park on a unique tour where no motor traffic is permitted, as you ramble along you will be told of the history, legends and folklore of the area. Passing the 15th Century Ross Castle before joining the M.V Pride of the Lakes for a cruise on Lake Leane where the experienced skipper will commentate on the flora, fauna and historical heritage of the area.D, FE
Wednesday 10 June
A day with our local tour guide, to the mystical and unspoilt region of Ireland known as the Ring of Kerry. This beautiful tourist trail provides an insight into the areas ancient heritage. See the Iron Age Forts and Ogham Stones, Old Monasteries and a landscape carved out of rock by the last ice age 10,000 years ago, before returning to our Hotel.D, FE
Thursday 11 June
A full day trip and commentary by a local guide around the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, stretching 30 miles into the Atlantic Ocean from Ireland's south west coast. This stunning Peninsula is dominated by a range of mountains steep sea cliffs which are broken by sandy beaches, a must to see in your visit to Ireland.

Return to Wexford for the night with a stop in Waterford
Catch the early morning ferry to Fishguard and home to Devon.FE
