We leave Devon and make our way to our the market town of Chipping Campden one of the loveliest small towns in the Cotswolds and a gilded masterpiece of limestone and craftsmanship, the high street contains the 2nd highest densitry of listed buildings in the country. Arriving at our hotel with time to settle into our rooms before dinner.

Tuesday 21st March

After a full English breakfast we travel to Hidcote, explore the maze of narrow paved pathways and discover secret gardens, magnificent vistas and plants that burst with colour. It's the perfect place if you're in need of gardening inspiration. Find a quiet spot and sit on one of the ornate benches and watch green woodpeckers search for their lunch or listen to the calls from the buzzards circling overhead. Time it right and you might catch a glimpse of the elusive hummingbird moth. We then spend the afternoon in the Market town of Morton in March, the broad High Street is lined with elegant 17th and 18th Century buildings.

Wednesday 22nd March

Today we explore the beautiful gardens at Sezincote (pronounced seas in coat), often referred to as India in the Cotswolds Sezincote is unique. At the heart of a traditional, family-run estate covering 3,500 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside stands a 200-year-old Mogul Indian palace, set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottoes, waterfalls and canals reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon we visit the town of Broadway, the pretty High Street is lined with horse chestnut trees and includes a mixture of period houses and picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages which have lured visitors for centuries. This evening evening (subject to change) we join the Pudding Club for dinner (and puddings!) with a talk from the "pudding master"! We depart with certificates in hand!

Thursday 23rd March

Today we visit Chavenage House also known as 'Trenwith' the home to the Poldark family in BBC's remake of this popular TV series. Chavenage House has a history of its own and has stood virtually unchanged for 400 years and on your intimate tour you will get to see the rooms where Oliver Cromwell and his General, Ireton, stayed in 1648.
