A contemporary hotel for our overnight stop on the way to Scotland. The rooms offer free WiFi, 24 hour room service and all are en-suite. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel.
Fishers Hotel, Pitlochry****
Located right in the centre of the beautiful Victorian town of Pitlochry, the friendly Fishers Hotel is surrounded by award-winning gardens. There is a bright, spacious restaurant and two bars, one of which is a pub-style bar and one a smaller, more intimate bar. There are also two elegant lounge areas full of comfortable sofas and armchairs and an outside seating area in the lovely gardens. All of the en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated and generous in size with free WiFi, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Ground floor rooms available and a lift.
Dunollie Hotel, Broadford Bay, Isle of Skye***
Set on the waterfront at Broadford Bay at the foot of the mountains leading to the famous Cuillin Hills, The Dunollie Hotel boasts fabulous views towards the islands of Pabay and Scalpay. All 84 bedrooms are spacious and the stunning setting of the restaurant provides lovely views across the bay. There is also a comfortable bar and lounge which is perfect for relaxing in by the open fire. There are steps throughout the hotel but no lift, Ground floor rooms with Tea/coffee in room.

The contemporary bar and restaurant offer the perfect place to relax and unwind in the evenings. No lift, but ground floor rooms.

Tuesday 13th June
Leaving Devon we make our way to the Warrington Fir Grove Hotel, arriving here late afternoon for our overnight stop. There will be time to relax and enjoy a welcome tea or coffee before settling in before dinner.
DWedneday 14th June
Following a full English breakfast, we make our way north to the beautiful Victorian town of Pitlochry to the Fishers Hotel, with stops along the route to enjoy the spectacular scenery. After a welcome tea or coffee you have time to explore Pitlochry or relax in the hotel before our evening meal is served.
D, FEThursday 15th June
After a full Scottish breakfast, you have a free day to explore Pitlochry. You could visit the Blair Athol Distillery, famous for it's single malts or the Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder. Over 5,000 salmon pass through the ladder each year and there are 34 pools and 2 observation windows to try and view their movements. There are plenty of walks and wonderful scenery to enjoy in the town, along with many attractive shops, bars and tearooms.
D, FEFriday 16th June
After a full Scottish breakfast, we drive north to enjoy a cruise on Loch Ness from Fort Augustus at the southern end of the Loch. We pass Cherry Island, and enjoy views of striking Fort Augustus Abbey. On board sonar equipment will scan the depths for what may lie beneath! Afterwards, we make our way to the beautiful Isle of Skye and our next hotel. We arrive at our hotel with time to settle in to your room before dinner in the hotel restaurant.
D, FESaturday 17th June
After a hearty full Scottish breakfast, we make our way to beautiful Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. The Castle lies at the heart of the 42,000 acre MacLeod Estate on the North West Coast of Skye and is one of the greatest Hebridean Castles and the only island fortress to have been continuously occupied by the same family for 800 years. The gardens are an oasis featuring an eclectic mix of plants. There are plenty of places to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. We then travel on to Duntulm on the Northern Trotternish Peninsula before returning to our hotel for dinner.
D, FESunday 18th June
Today after breakfast, we take the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Armadale to Mallaig and then drive through Fort William at the base of Ben Nevis, passing Glencoe, and into the Trossachs, passing Loch Lomond on route to our next hotel in Irvine in Ayreshire. Settle in to your hotel before dinner in the hotel.
D, FEMonday 19th June
After breakfast, we board the ferry at Ardrossan and sail to Brodick on the Isle of Arran where we visit Brodick Castle. Set by the sea and surrounded by hills and the Majestic Goatfell Mountain, there are gardens, woodland, waterfalls and a castle packed with treasures to enjoy. After some free time in Brodick, we take a scenic drive around some of the island before boarding the ferry back to the mainland.
D, FETuesday 20th June
Today after breakfast, we begin our journey south stopping at the Samlesbury Hotel in Preston for the night with dinner at the hotel.

After a full English breakfast, we continue our journey home to South Devon, with comfort stops on route.
