Friday 17 May
Leaving Devon we travel to our hotel with time to change for the evening. Leaving early evening and travelling on to the World Arena in Birmingham, for the evening performance at 19:30. There will be time to have dinner at one of the outlets there.
We have premium seats in Block B for this concert.
Andre Rieu created the Johann Strauss Orchestra in 1987 with only 12 members, their first concert was on 1stJanuary 1988. Over the years the orchestra has expanded, and by 2020 there were between 50 and 60 musicians. Andre Rieu plays a 1667 Stradivarius violin. Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra have appeared throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan, and Australia
Saturday 18 May
After a leisurely full English breakfast we check out of our rooms and enjoy some free time in the city. Later that afternoon we head home to Devon.
