A Dazzling Winter Treat

This is winter with the wow-factor! The lush green vistas of Longleat’s grand estate are transformed into a sparkling Festival of Light; you won’t be able to imagine a place more different! Thousands of lights illuminate spectacular Chinese lanterns across the estate. The World Heritage city of Bath needs little introduction so it’s up to you how you would like to spend your time there; perhaps a visit to the remarkable Roman Baths, or tea at Sally Lunn's accompanied by one of the rich brioche style Bath Buns she introduced to the city in the 17th Century. Sunday 17th November

A full day at Longleat, our ticket includes a drive through the Safari Park, entrance to the Gardens, jungle cruise, jungle kingdom. On the Safari, you travel through the Deer Park, Wolf Wood, Tiger Territory and Lion Country. We then enjoy the wonderful Festival of Light, a must-see fiesta of magnificent Chinese lanterns, beaming with colour and fascinating structures. There are plenty of food outlets for you to purchase some dinner.

Monday 18th November

After a full English breakfast we have time in the beautiful Roman City of Bath, with plenty of time to shop or sightsee. There are so many places to visit - the Abbey, the Roman Baths and Pump Room (entrance tickets required), the Royal Crescent or Sally Lunn's for a famous Bun. Don't forget there is plenty of room in the coach for all your purchases -In the afternoon we return home to Devon.
