Sunday 1st December
We travel to Cardiff, arriving around midday. Enjoy free time in Cardiff to shop, sightsee and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market held in the pedestrian streets. There is a Winter Wonderland with its own ice rink, now undercover so you don't have to worry about the weather! Santa's Grotto will be in the spectacular setting of Cardiff Castle once again this year. There are many restaurants near the hotel for you to choose from for dinner. Cardiff has it all when it comes to shopping - large shopping centres, high street favourites, individual shops and boutiques and a thriving indoor market. Highlights are the Victorian and Edwardian arcades full of unique boutique cafes and are architectural gems in their own right.
Monday 2nd December
After a hot & cold buffet breakfast we travel to the Roman City of Bath to soak up the Christmas atmosphere. There are plenty of unique shops to explore and a myriad of attractions to be discovered, from the Roman Baths and the Royal Crescent to the Jane Austen Centre.
In the afternoon we return home to Devon.
