Sunday 7th December
We travel to Cardiff, arriving around midday. Enjoy free time in Cardiff to shop, sightsee and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market held in the pedestrian streets. There is a Winter Wonderland with its own ice rink, now undercover so you don't have to worry about the weather! Santa's Grotto will be in the spectacular setting of Cardiff Castle once again this year. There are many restaurants near the hotel for you to choose from for dinner. Cardiff has it all when it comes to shopping - large shopping centres, high street favourites, individual shops and boutiques and a thriving indoor market. Highlights are the Victorian and Edwardian arcades full of unique boutique cafes and are architectural gems in their own right.
Monday 8th December
After a hot & cold buffet breakfast we travel to the Roman City of Bath to soak up the Christmas atmosphere. Bath's compact city centre is packed with retailers of every size from one-of-a-kind boutiques to major high street names. Bath has it all when it comes to arts and crafts, fashion, jewellery, vintage clothing, books and foodie emporiums. Surrounding the stunning Bath Abbey, there is a maze of intriguing alleys and passages lined with little shops selling glassware, confectionary, accessories and fashions. In the afternoon we return home to South Devon.
