This hotel is set within 5 acres of gardens and is a 10 minute walk from the beach and is located on a tranquil grassy peninsula leading to a sandy bay in the peaceful parish of Vale. It boasts a prominent sea-front position, overlooking Grand Havre Bay on the north-west coast of the island and during the summer you can relax around the outdoor heated swimming pool.

Mon 14th September
We make our way to Poole ferry terminal and take the Brittany ferry to Guernsey, where we transfer by local coach to our hotel. The island is steeped in wartime history and the legacy is a labyrinth of fortifications plus fascinating museums that vividly recreate everyday life in the occupied islands.
Tue 15th September
A full day guided tour of the island with a local operator to explore the beautiful scenery, beaches and look-out points. Visit the Little Chapel, beautifully decorated with seashells, pebbles and broken china. You will also see Sausmarez Park where you may spot the exotic camellias and magnolias planted by a Guernsey diplomat whom served as the British Ambassador to Japan.
D, FEWed 16th September
Full day excursion to Sark. On arrival transfers by tractor-train are provided up the hill from the port to the village centre. This sleepy island has no cars, just bicycles and horse drawn carts. A 1 hour carriage ride around the island is included with stops to take in beautiful coastal views and La Seigneurie Gardens (local charge applies)
D, FEThu 17th September
This morning is at leisure on Guernsey for you to relax at the hotel, walk along the beach to perhaps catch the bus into St Peters Port and take the ferry across to the beautiful Herm Island (Your Tour Manager will be able to help with times and prices). There are no cars and no pressure, just an active policy of preserving the island's pristine natural environment and peacefulness. Enjoy beach walks, gift shops at the harbour plus the Mermaid Tavern.
D, FEFri 18th September
After breakfast, enjoy some more free time in Jersey before our transfer to the ferry, we make our return to Poole, where our Tally Ho Coach will be waiting to return us to South Devon.
