Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque banks of the River Thames, or cross the river to Eton School. Arriving at our hotel early evening in time for dinner.
DSaturday 6th July
After a full English breakfast we make our way to Hampton Court Palace for the world's biggest annual flower show, arriving as the show opens at 10 am. The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is the largest flower show in the world. The show features show gardens, floral marquees and pavilions, talks and demonstrations. Set on the north and south sides of the Long Water in Hampton Court Park, it is the second major national show after the Chelsea Flower Show but has a different character, focusing more on environmental issues, growing your own food and vegetables and cookery, while also offering opportunities to buy gardening accessories, plants and flowers. The coach will park in the Hampton Court Green car park. To reach the showground it is a 20 - 25-minute walk that involves using a footbridge across the road outside the palace.
We leave Hampton Court later in the afternoon to travel back home to Devon with a stop on route.
