We leave Devon in the morning and travel to our hotel near Ironbridge with comfort stops on route.
DSaturday 14 June
After a full English breakfast we visit the pretty medieval town of Ludlow. Enjoy browsing in the weekly street market which is held on Castle Street. Ludlow is arguably one of the finest historic towns in England with a wealth of beautiful period buildings. Centre-piece to the town is the dramatic medieval Ludlow Castle, perched on a cliff overlooking the River Teme. The town also has a reputation for the quality of its food and drink with many cafes and restaurants.
D, FESunday 15 June
After breakfast we enjoy a full day visiting the Ironbridge Valley of Invention, commonly referred to as 'the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution' and home to the world's first cast bridge. Visiting Blists Hill Victorian Town with its street of shops, a state-of-the-art visitor centre and narrow-gauge railway. Costumed guides are on hand to provide information on what life was like in Victorian times, Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron.
D, FEMonday 16 June
Enjoy a final cooked breakfast before we depart the hotel and travel to Malvern for a factory tour of the Morgan Motor Company. Immerse yourself in a mix of rare craft skills and the latest modern technology that goes into each Morgan sports car. Your tour guide will take you through each of the historic workshops, showcasing the unique processes which go in to building a Morgan. In the afternoon, we make our way back to Devon with comfort stops on route.
