Sunday 11th April
Leaving Devon we head to Gloucester Quays, set in a stunning waterside location the historic docks offer a stunning backdrop for the designer outlet as well as offering an insight into the history of the area with local heritage trips and plenty of architecture to see. Afterwards we continue to our hotel in Great Malvern with time to relax before dinner.
DMonday 12th April
After a leisurely breakfast we head to the pretty medieval town of Ludlow. Enjoy browsing in the weekly street market which is held on Castle Street. Ludlow is arguably one of the finest historic towns in England with a wealth of beautiful period buildings. Centrepiece to the town is the dramatic medieval Ludlow Castle, perched on a cliff overlooking the River Teme. In the afternoon we visit Hampton Gardens, near Hope-under-Dinmore, 12 acres of expansive, award-winning grounds featuring a stunning 150-year-old wisteria arch, a Dutch garden, and an organic kitchen garden. Highlights include a challenging yew tree maze, secret tunnel, island pavilions, and scenic water gardens.
D, FETuesday 13th April
Today we spend the morning with a visit to the Morgan Motor Company for a factory tour. Immerse yourself in a mix of rare craft skills and the latest modern technology that goes into each Morgan sports car. Your tour guide will take you through each of the historic workshops, showcasing the unique processes which go in to building a Morgan. Afterwards you will have free time in Malvern to explore and sightsee.
D, FEWednesday 14th April
We depart our hotel and travel to the historic town of Cheltenham enjoy some free time here. Cheltenham has a wonderful mix of the traditional and the new. With an abundance of independent and much-loved High-Street shops, and plenty of choices of cafes and restaurants. Early afternoon we travel home to Devon.
