Book NowYou are guaranteed a warm welcome from the local "Geordies"! Step back in time with visits to the Beamish Open Air Museum, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Island.
Bamburgh Castle - Appearances can be deceptive. Its only when you step inside and pass through centuries of history and enter the brilliant creation of Victorian innovator William Armstrong that youll discover a castle like no other, this amazing Castle has NINE ACRES of prime Northumberland history with lots of open air spaces to enjoy.
Alnwick Castle - is a top destination for Harry Potter fans and has now added the Downtons Crawley family to its famous visitors, having featured in a Christmas special. But of course the real story comes from 700 years of habitation by the Percy Family including Harry Hotspur Percy, the illustrious medieval knight. The Duke of Northumberland welcomes you to his family home which boasts sumptuous staterooms, stunning art collections and ancient walls steeped in history and filled with tales of warfare, romance and chivalry.
Lindisfarne - full of contradictions this is a castle (thats not a castle), on an island (thats not an island!).
Beamish - the living museum of the north this open air museum tells the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s.
