RHS Glow at Wisley & Windsor Castle at Christmas

Leaving Devon we travel to London and check in to our hotel, early evening we travel to RHS Wisley. Come and explore a magical winter wonderland of colour, music and light at RHS Wisley Glow. Follow an exciting new route through the stunning Seven Acres, past giant flowers that come to life with a simple touch, to the Glasshouse for an experience that will wow you. Stroll through the Tropical House and see amazing tropical plants lit up in all their glory. For the first time ever, a floating pontoon will take you over the Glasshouse Lake, giving you a breathtaking view of the garden as never seen before.
As you wander, enjoy festive tunes filling the air, illuminated trees with colour-changing roots, fairy light Christmas trees and a field of flames to light up your night. Snap a picture with family and friends in front of the sparkling star arch, and venture through a twinkling tunnel of light along Wisteria Walk. Head over to the Jellicoe Canal for the spectacular grand finale!
When you're ready for a break, check out the gift stalls along the route and pick up perfect presents
Enjoy winter warmers, hot food and festive bakes in the Wisley Café, and for food on the go, you'll find hot drinks and yummy treats available to buy from chalets in the Village Square.
You may wish to bring a torch with you.

Thursday 4th Dec

After a full English breakfast we visit Windsor Castle. There will be plenty of time in the largest occupied castle in the world. Audio Guides are included in our visit to ensure we don't miss a thing! The Christmas display at Windsor includes the magnificent centre-piece - the 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir in St George's Hall which comes from Windsor Great Park. The tree is beautifully dressed with hundreds of iridescent glass and mirrored ornaments. In the State Dining Room, the table is laid with silver-gilt pieces from the spectacular Grand Service commissioned by George IV and still used today by The Queen and her guests at State Banquets. We depart Windsor mid-afternoon and return home to Devon.
