An electrifying experience for all ages, feel the rush in this ‘jaw-dropping’ (Daily Telegraph) production as an incredible cast whizzes by performing some of musical theatre’s most beloved songs, including/AC/DC, Make Up My Heart, Light at the End of the Tunnel/and the iconic/Starlight Express.
As a child’s train set magically comes to life and the engines race to become the fastest in the world, Rusty, the steam train has little hope of winning until he is inspired by the legend of the ‘Starlight Express’.

Wed 25th August
We travel to Birmingham arriving at our hotel early afternoon. After check-in there'll be plenty of time to have a late lunch/ early dinner in one of the many restaurants close by before making our way by coach to the Birmingham Hippodrome for the evening performance of Starlight Express. Afterwards our driver will return us to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
Mon 26th August
After breakfast we check out of our rooms & travel to Stratford Upon Avon to enjoy some free time, steeped in the history of its most famous resident, William Shakespeare, this Warwickshire country town contains the home where Shakespeare was born, the cottage where Anne Hathaway resided before their marriage and the church where the couple is buried. Later this afternoon we head home to Devon.
