Monday 8th March
Leaving Devon we travel to our hotel with a lunch stop on-route in the market town of Wimbourne Minster. Arriving late afternoon with time to unpack and relax before dinner.
DTuesday 9th March
This morning after breakfast we travel to Portsmouth, where we visit the Spinnaker Tower situated on the waterfront of Gunwharf Quays. The iconic Spinnaker Tower stands at a soaring 170 metres tall, offering awe-inspiring 23-mile views over Portsmouth, the Solent, the South Downs and the Isle of Wight. The experience starts in the high-speed lift and in 30 seconds you step onto the viewing decks where Portsmouth, 'the great waterfront city' is showcased in all its glory. Afterwards there will be time to have some lunch and browse the outlet shops around Gunwharf Quays.
D, FEWednesday 10th March
Today we visit Arundel & Chichester. Arundel is a picturesque market town, charming and full of history, most famous for two stunning landmarks - Arundel Castle and Arundel Cathedral.
Chichester, a historic cathedral city is known for its rich Roman history and Georgian architecture. Explore the city's rich history, where ancient Roman walls stand as a testament to its past. Wander through quaint shopping streets, where independent shops, restaurants, cafes, and galleries line the streets. History enthusiasts will find Chichester Cathedral to be an inspiring architectural marvel.
Thursday 11th March
Our day begins with a visit to Petworth House, a majestic 17th Century stately home, and home to an extraordinary collection of art and sculpture, stunning state rooms and 700 acres of parklands and beautiful grounds designed by Capability Brown. Inside the magnificent Petworth House you will see interiors which were designed to showcase the wealth and lifestyle of the family and today are displayed as they would have been during the third Earl's time. Explore exquisite rooms such as the Chapel and the Marble Hall, once the main entrance to the house, as visiting artists did in their day. Not to be missed, the Carved Room is famed for its wood carvings by Grinling Gibbons and is where you'll be able to view some of JMW Turner's Sussex views which were painted in Petworth in the early 19th Century.

After a full English breakfast we return to Devon with a stop in Dorchester on the way.
