The Hex Hotel is uniquely located in The Yorkshire Hive, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex which also includes Yorkshire Wildlife Park. All 52 bedrooms are of a superb standard with most offering walk-in showers. All are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Meals are served in the main brasserie & bar area. Please note - due to the unique set-up of this complex, the reception area, bedrooms, brasserie and bar are in separate buildings within The Yorkshire Hive, and are a few minutes walk from one another.

Monday 23rd Nov
We depart Devon and travel to our hotel near Doncaster, with comfort stops on route, arriving with time to unpack and settle in before dinner.
DTuesday 24th Nov
Today we make the most of our time with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. As the UK's number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we're in for a 'roarsome' day out with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the largest collection of polar bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other critters to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more!
In the afternoon enjoy a festive film with mulled wine and mince pies.
Wednesday 25th Nov
After a leisurely breakfast we travel to the City of Lincoln. Home to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral, castle remains, ancient walls, & architecture. Wander along the picturesque, cobbled streets and take in the spectacular sights of Lincoln's magnificent historic architecture. For those fancying some retail therapy, Lincoln offers a great selection of shops. The city has a mixture of high street favourites and independent boutiques.
Turkey dinner tonight with a visit from Victor the Polar Bear.
Thursday 26th Nov
After breakfast, today we visit Hardwick Hall, one of the finest Elizabethan buildings in the country, Hardwick Hall is a perfect place to discover and explore historic architectural and artistic delights. From the first view of the grand Entrance Hall, up the twisting and turning staircase decorated with tapestries to the top of the Elizabethan floor, head on a journey of extravagance and power.
This evening enjoy entry to the Winter Illuminations. Explore the park after dark & the 3km illuminated trail featuring bespoke lanterns and incredible light displays. Winter Illuminations is one of the UK's most magical Christmas light experience
Friday 27th Nov
After a full English breakfast, we return home to South Devon with comfort stops on route, arriving home early evening.
